Our Mission
Our mission is to put members at the center of every decision. We are committed to protecting rights, improving workplace conditions, and ensuring that every voice is heard and respected. As a slate, we stand for integrity, accountability, and solidarity—working together to build a stronger, fairer, and more inclusive union that reflects the strength of its members and creates a better future for all.
Union Platform & Priorities
• Strengthening Our Contract
We are committed to reinforcing our collective bargaining agreement by closing loopholes and ensuring full protection for every member.
• Strike Support Plan
We will establish a sustainable strike fund and support system so no member is left without pay while exercising the right to strike.
• 24/7 Representation
Every member deserves strong support at all times. We will implement a round-the-clock representation system with on-call union reps ready to assist.
• Direct Action & Accountability
We will confront workplace issues head-on through direct action and by holding the university accountable for unfair practices, unsafe conditions, and violations of our rights.
• Empowering Member Leadership
We believe in uplifting members by encouraging active roles as workplace leaders and representatives. We will host training conferences to enhance skills and support growth and promotion opportunities.
• A Member-Led Union
Above all, this is a movement driven by the rank-and-file. We are building a union that reflects the voice, will, and power of its membership. Rather than a leadership-based structure, let’s create a membership structure that truly reflects who we are.
